Crossfit Victus is a large, modern fitness facility specialising in functional fitness. Our aim is to make you better at life. Whether that be weight loss, increased strength, sports readiness or just having energy after a long day to play with your kids/ grandkids. Our self paced workouts are exciting and unique, and our members are the most friendliest people in the history of the universe.
We are located at Unit 3, 17-25 Lake Albert Road Wagga Wagga in a gym that is 100% CrossFit. Our training methods produce undisputed, tangible results for all levels of fitness; from teenagers to the elderly, and everything in between. Our program efficiently combines the most effective training methods of Weightlifting, Gymnastics, and Metabolic Conditioning. There isn’t a more exciting and fun strength and conditioning program anywhere that works with a greater diversity of tools, modalities, and drills.
Our members set goals, and everyday they break down barriers and set new standards for themselves. Our training is self paced and can be intense, depending on the level you wish to push yourself, and it creates a bond among our members that can’t be faked or manufactured. Together we sweat, we expose weaknesses and we get stronger…together. The community aspect of CrossFit is our greatest strength. At CrossFit Victus there are no ego’s, no bad attitudes or no Hero’s. Just a group of amazing, everyday people training with one common goal - To be the best possible version of themselves.

At CFV we have No lock in contracts or Joining fees. If for whatever reason, you also have the option of our membership holding facility (minimum 4 weeks)
We love the family environment we have created at CrossFit Victus. We encourage you to bring your children and we have a secure crèche area where they can play safely out of harms way during the WODs. Although the Crèche is unsupervised, Children are in full view of their Parents at all times.

Take a Close Look!Before you decide to join a CrossFit gym, or “box,” you need to make certain that box is a “true” affiliate, ensuring the trainers have completed the necessary levels of certification. The good news is there are currently over 5,000 affiliates around the world, so it is likely you will find one near you. The bad news is that not every place that says “CrossFit” is a true affiliate. Check the list of affiliates here. You want the people teaching CrossFit movements to be endorsed by CrossFit.
Take off your Coat and Stay AwhileOnce you have narrowed down the (official) affiliates you want to try, take the time to visit. Talk with the trainers, talk with the members. Spend time observing a morning class and an afternoon class if you like. By just being in the space you’ll learn a lot about class structure and trainers’ personalities. If the trainer is wearing spandex pants talking on his mobile phone while demonstrating a muscle up, best to walk away.
The Same but DifferentAlthough the fundamentals of CrossFit are the same wherever one goes, it’s safe to say no two boxes look the same. What matters most is that you feel comfortable with the coaches and in the space. Anyone can write a workout down on a board and say go… but pay attention to how people teach and communicate things, how they organize classes, etc. Most boxes don’t have a wall of mirrors (if any at all); there may be a stationary bike or some rowers, but no machines. Decide for yourself if it’s the environment for you. Trust your gut!
It’s the People, People!At most big box gyms there is no need or desire to get to know the people next to you on the elliptical trainer or Stairmaster. In any case, they’re probably too busy watching TV or reading a magazine. CrossFit, on the other hand, is one hundred percent all about the people you “throw down with” every day. As CrossFit increasingly becomes a bigger part of your life, so, too, will your fellow CrossFitters. You don’t have to like everyone, but don’t be surprised if it turns out you do.
The Coachesof CrossFit Victus
At CrossFit Victus, the coaches are people with aspirations and goals just like you. We dread the thought of not being able to do something because of physical limitations. We’re CrossFitters, climbers, firefighters, students, parents, trail runners, swimmers, etc. What’s more important is what we have in common with you.
We chose CrossFit because we chase the same fitness level that you seek now. It started as an interest in being able to reach our goals as they relate to our chosen sport, but have since far outreached those boundaries. Now we seek to improve every aspect of our daily lives through fitness. To be able to perform our jobs better, to be surrounded by people who will celebrate our first pull up, to have a place to go to blow off a little steam, to try things that most adults would consider childish (which we consider cool).

Although the Crossfit certification is an excellent qualification to have, I believe it is important that my trainers have an extensive background in training prior to CrossFit. This gives them a thorough understanding in such areas as human movement and anatomy, injury prevention and rehabilitation. Our Coaches also specialize in specific areas, with Certifications such as CrossFit Gymnastics, AWF and Pendlay certified weightlifting, nutrition, kettlebells and mobility.
